The Certificate II in Community Services is a one-semester program that is 100% delivered by Connect 'n' Grow at Connect 'n' Grow's Health Hub. This program involves 120 hours of face-to-face delivery with the students.
During the program, students will learn essential skills and knowledge in community servies, including communication, and assisting with client care and cover on the following topics:
Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
Infection control
Communication
Customer service
Working with diverse people and teams
Supporting personal wellbeing in the workplace
Conducting basic health checks
Personal time management
Managing tasks and responsibilities effectively in a community setting
Analysing situations and making informed decisions
Yes, students will be required to complete assessments throughout the program to demonstrate their understanding and competency in the health support services field. Assessment types include:

Be aged 16 or over and enrolled at school
Live or work in South Australia
An Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent Australian resident, or hold an eligible visa
