Connect n Grow (CnG) School‑Based Traineeships allow senior secondary students to combine school, paid employment and nationally recognised training while gaining real experience in healthcare and community services settings.

Who Can Apply?
School‑Based Traineeships through CnG are available to students who:
✅ Are in year 11
✅ Have completed or are currently enrolled in a CnG Certificate II program
✅ Are motivated and able to balance school, work and training commitments
✅ Have support from their school and family
Completion or current enrolment in a Connect ‘n’ Grow Certificate II qualification is a mandatory requirement for all school‑based traineeship applications.

Seed Foundation Australia
Seed Foundation Australia was established to provide holistic career pathway wrap-around support to young First Nations peoples on their education and employment journey in the health and social service sector. Seed Foundation Australia work closely with First Nations students enrolled in the Connect n Grow programs to offer support and mentoring and pathway planning and job readiness for completion.
Seed Employment (GTO)
Seed Employment was established in 2019, to help meet the growing demand for trained and skilled Health and Social Services employees across Australia, CnG Employment’s goal is to provide support and mentoring to senior school students and young adults looking to pursue a career in this sector and connect them with employers looking to build their workforce.

Yes. Students must have completed or be currently enrolled in a Connect ‘n’ Grow Certificate II qualification to be eligible for a School‑Based Traineeship.
Yes. Students are employed part‑time and paid by the host employer.
