A School‑Based Traineeship allows secondary students to:
Be employed part‑time in an Aged Care, Hospital or Allied Health setting
Complete a Certificate III qualification while at school
Develop real‑world skills under professional supervision
Transition seamlessly into the healthcare workforce
All CnG trainees:
Have completed or are currently completing a CnG Certificate II program
Are supported by their school, CnG trainers and workplace supervisors
Work hours aligned with school and service delivery requirements

A simple, supported four‑step process:
1. Student Readiness
Students complete (or are currently enrolled in) a CnG Certificate II qualification, ensuring foundational skills and workplace readiness.
2. Employer Matching
CnG works with employers to match suitable students aligned to the workplace, scope of practice and supervision capacity.
3. Training & Employment
Students are employed part‑time and supported by CnG trainers while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification.
4. Workforce Pathway
Employers develop confident, capable trainees with clear progression into post‑school employment or further training.
CnG partners specifically with:
Residential and Community Aged Care providers
Public and private Hospitals
Allied Health organisations (including therapy and support services)
Both large organisations and smaller regional providers are welcome to explore partnership opportunities.
CnG provides end‑to‑end traineeship coordination, allowing employers to focus on mentoring, supervision and service delivery.

Yes. All students must have completed or be currently enrolled in a CnG Certificate II program before commencing a school‑based traineeship.
